Hyperhydrosis (Excessive Sweating)

Sweating is one of the most important ways through which the body loses heat and is a natural and normal process.

Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, is a common and often embarrassing problem for many people, especially sweating of the underarms. There are many products which can be useful for treating this, some of which can be bought and some can be obtained on prescription, but if all else fails, injections into the affected areas are likely to give you the freedom from embarrassment you wished for.

The simple treatment involves a few injections into the skin, where sweating is the greatest, to block the action of the nerves that supply the sweat glands. The effects of this treatment can last for several months leaving you more confident to enjoy life. It’ll leave you wondering you you’ve lived without it for so long!
